Yueh’s Choice Now Has a Physical Location in Central Kaohsiung – Discover Our French Products at ANNA

For Yueh’s Choice, sharing French products has never been only about selling things online.

From the beginning, our goal has been to create a bridge between France and Taiwan: introducing products we genuinely appreciate, telling the stories of the people behind them, and giving our customers the opportunity to discover a different side of French culture.

Today, we are taking another important step in that direction.

Yueh’s Choice products are now stocked and available for purchase at ANNA, our partner space in central Kaohsiung.

This gives our customers in southern Taiwan a physical place where they can discover our selection, purchase products and, by appointment, meet the Yueh’s Choice team.

But we want ANNA to become more than simply a place where our products are available.

In the coming months, it will also become one of the places where we organise tastings, discovery workshops and other events dedicated to French products and culture.

ANNA is a multifunctional partner space that gives Yueh’s Choice something particularly important to us: a physical presence in Kaohsiung.

While our website remains an important place to discover our products and learn about the French producers and artisans we work with, we know that some things are simply better experienced in person.

This is especially true for products with a strong connection to craftsmanship, gastronomy and wine.

Being able to see a product, discuss where it comes from and understand how it was made creates a completely different experience.

ANNA now gives us a place to make that possible.

Yueh’s Choice was created around a simple idea: bringing carefully selected French products to Taiwan.

Rather than trying to offer everything, we prefer to build our selection gradually around producers, artisans and products that have something interesting to share.

ANNA now allows customers in Kaohsiung to discover part of this selection physically.

Products stocked there are available for purchase directly on site.

For us, this physical presence is an important complement to our online activities.

A website is excellent for providing detailed information, presenting producers and allowing people to discover our universe. But when it comes to French food, wine and craftsmanship, conversation remains extremely important.

Sometimes a customer simply wants to ask:

Who produces it?

What makes this particular region interesting?

What should I eat with this bottle?

What makes this artisan product different?

These are exactly the kinds of conversations we want Yueh’s Choice to encourage.

Customers who would like more detailed advice can also arrange an appointment with the Yueh’s Choice team at ANNA.

This can be particularly useful if you are interested in discovering our French wines.

Wine can sometimes feel unnecessarily complicated. Regions, grape varieties, vintages, winemaking techniques and food pairings can quickly create the impression that you need to be an expert before choosing a bottle.

We prefer a much simpler approach.

Tell us what you enjoy, what you are curious about, or what kind of occasion you are preparing for, and we can introduce the wines and producers in our selection.

Meeting us by appointment also gives us more time to explain the stories behind the bottles.

Many of the wines we select come from producers and regions that deserve more attention than they usually receive internationally. Part of our work is therefore not simply presenting a bottle, but helping people understand where it comes from and why we chose it.

A Place to Meet the Yueh’s Choice Community

Having a physical location also changes something fundamental for us.

It gives us a place to meet.

Until now, many people have discovered Yueh’s Choice through our website, social media, markets or recommendations from other customers.

These channels will continue to be important, but we also want to create more opportunities for people to meet around a table and discover French products together.

ANNA gives us the possibility to develop this side of Yueh’s Choice.

We see the space as a meeting point between our online activities and real-world experiences in Kaohsiung.

And this is only the beginning.

French Wine Tastings in Kaohsiung

One of the activities we plan to organise at ANNA is French wine tasting.

The objective will not necessarily be to create highly technical wine courses.

Instead, we want to make French wine approachable.

A tasting could focus on a particular region, producer, grape variety or winemaking method. It could also simply be an opportunity to compare several wines and understand why they taste different.

For people who are beginning to explore French wine, these events will provide an opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed environment.

For more experienced wine lovers, they will offer a chance to discover smaller producers and bottles that may be less familiar in Taiwan.

Most importantly, we want these tastings to remain moments of discovery and exchange.

Wine should create conversation, not barriers.

Discovering French Products Beyond Wine

Our future events will not be limited to wine.

France has an enormous diversity of regional products, traditions and craftsmanship, and one of the long-term ambitions of Yueh’s Choice is to introduce more of this diversity to Taiwan.

ANNA will give us a place to organise French product discovery workshops and small events.

Depending on our future selection and partnerships, these activities may explore different products, producers, regions or aspects of everyday French culture.

Some events may be educational.

Others may simply be an excuse to taste something new, meet people and spend a pleasant moment together.

We want to keep the format flexible because Yueh’s Choice itself will continue to evolve.

New producers will join us.

New products will arrive.

And each new collaboration can become an opportunity to organise something different in Kaohsiung.

Building a Small Bridge Between France and Taiwan

Yueh’s Choice is still developing.

We do not want to hide that.

In fact, we think this gradual development is part of what makes the project interesting.

We are building our selection producer by producer and product by product, while learning what our customers in Taiwan are curious about.

Having a physical presence at ANNA is therefore an important milestone.

It allows us to move beyond a purely online relationship and create a place where people can actually meet us, discover products, and participate in future activities.

Our ambition is not simply to put French flags on products and call them French.

We want to provide context.

Who made this?

Where was it made?

Why is it interesting?

How is it traditionally enjoyed?

What part of France does it represent?

Those questions are an important part of Yueh’s Choice.

ANNA gives us a new way to answer them.
