The artisans we work with often come from regions with strong craft traditions, such as Mazamet in Southern France, historically known for leatherwork and artisanal expertise.
Many of these workshops still use traditional techniques and slower production methods that value quality over quantity. Some brands, such as Maison Berthille, are even recognized with the prestigious French “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (EPV) label, awarded to companies preserving exceptional craftsmanship and heritage.
Others, like La Farga Catar, revive ancient forging techniques inspired by medieval blacksmith traditions, creating unique hand-forged objects using recycled materials and ancestral methods.
