Located in Rabastens, in the Tarn region of Southern France, Domaine In Ventis is a family-owned winery rooted in the historic Gaillac PDO (Protected Designation of Origin).
The estate spans 10 hectares in the heart of Occitanie, just 40 km from Toulouse, Montauban, and Albi. The family’s winemaking history dates back to 1874, and today the domain is carried forward by Jean-Baptiste, Mathilde, and Martin, who became Independent Winemakers in 2016.
A Terroir Shaped by Wind and Nature
Domaine In Ventis cultivates its vineyards through Organic Agriculture, seeking to express both the typicity and originality of the Gaillac terroir.
The vineyards grow on limestone and clay soils at the meeting point of oceanic and Mediterranean influences. Wind plays an essential role in the life of the vines and the identity of the estate itself — “In Ventis” translates to “In the Winds.”
This unique climate and terroir allow the domaine to produce wines with freshness, balance, and strong regional character.
