At Yueh’s Choice, we believe French wine is about much more than prestigious labels or famous appellations.

Behind every bottle, there is a family, a vineyard, a landscape, and a story shaped over generations.

Our wine selection follows a clear principle: we work exclusively with independent, family-owned wineries producing organic wines. We do not source from large wine groups or corporate-owned estates. The producers we choose remain directly involved in their vineyards and cellars, and many of their estates have been passed down within the same family for generations.

For us, this independence matters.

It means that the people whose names and family histories are connected to the estate are also the people making the decisions in the vineyard, during harvest, in the cellar, and throughout the winemaking process.

Yueh’s Choice does not aim to offer hundreds of bottles.

Instead, we prefer a smaller, carefully curated selection of wines that we genuinely appreciate and want to introduce to wine lovers in Taiwan.

We began our journey by exploring vineyards in Southern France and South-Western France, particularly regions such as Gaillac and Minervois. These areas remain at the heart of our current selection, with independent producers creating wines that reflect their terroir, local grape varieties, and family heritage.

Why We Choose Independent Family Wineries

The French wine industry includes everything from very small family estates to large international groups.

At Yueh’s Choice, we deliberately choose to work with independent producers.

Many of the wineries we select have been in the same family for several generations. Their vineyards are not simply assets in a portfolio. They are part of a family history, a local landscape, and a way of life that has often been passed from parents to children.

This continuity creates a strong connection between the winemaker and the land.

It also allows each estate to maintain its own identity rather than following the standardized style often associated with large-scale production.

French Wine Selected for Taiwan

Yueh’s Choice was created to introduce carefully selected French products to people in Taiwan.

Wine is an important part of that project.

Some of the wineries we work with are sourced directly through relationships we have built ourselves in France. We continue to search for new independent producers whose philosophy matches our own.

At the same time, Yueh’s Choice is open to working with trusted French partners in Taiwan who represent wines that meet the same standards: organic production, independent family ownership, authenticity, and a genuine connection to the producer.

What matters most is not who introduced the wine to us.

What matters is whether the estate and the bottle belong in the Yueh’s Choice selection.
