A Journey Rooted in Two Cultures: France & Taiwan

This project was born from our shared passion for French craftsmanship, quality goods, and above all, the desire to build a bridge between two cultures we deeply cherish: France and Taiwan.

Our French Roots: Mazamet, Gaillac & Local Artisanship

We come from Mazamet, in the southwest of France – once the world capital of wool pulling. This is where we developed a strong connection to traditional leathercraft.

For wine lovers, we focus on the Gaillac region, one of France’s oldest vineyards, known for its rare grape varieties and organic wines from small producers.

We also work with talented artisans like Bruno, a blacksmith at La Farga Catar, who uses 13th-century forging techniques.

Our Mission in Taiwan: Share & Connect

A Cultural Project: MJC-Inspired Center in Taiwan

With Le P’tit Coin Français, we are laying the foundations of a cultural center inspired by French MJCs. We plan to share French culture through children’s workshops, public events, and educational activities.

A Personal Story

The name Yueh’s Choice comes from a Chinese character in our daughter’s name – a beautiful symbol of the bridge between our two worlds.

We are Joan & Romain, passionate about France, Taiwan, and the human connections in between. Every item in our collection is carefully chosen as a cultural messenger between continents.
